Born and raised on a farm in Darlington in the north east of England where he still resides, Middi has toured the globe performing Irish and Country music both solo and as part of his group "The Wild Murphys" which toured for over 20 years. A former mobile and radio DJ who turned to live music in the early 2000's he has lead an exceptionally full on career in the music industry, probably most notable him being the original producer of the theatre productions "One night in Dublin" and "The BIG Country Music Show" which are both still touring the UK and Europe having being sold to a new production company in 2025. With a strong work ethic, the ability to create and engineer projects from scratch and finding solutions to pretty much any technical and logistical issue thrown at him.
In August 2025 Middi retired from touring and performing as it was taking up a huge portion of his life and he needed to be at home around his family more and dedicate some time to his other projects.
In February of 2025 in the lead up to his 'retirement' he created "Pirates Rock" a sea shanty and Celtic rock song and dance show which will be touring from early 2026. Another passion project which he has finally had time to start working on is "The picture of Dorian Gray - The Musical", a totally original and traditional style musical which he's been talking about and making notes on for over 15 years! Recording of the concept album starts in Summer 2025 and it's expected that this new musical will preview in theatres in late 2026 or early 2027.

A crossover country/Irish music production which was designed as a concept but did not tour.
GARTH BROOKS - THE ULTIMATE LIVE TRIBUTE
A high production value tribute show with full live band.
Preview toured in Ireland for 14 nights in May 2023 to mixed reviews. A full UK tour was planned for 2024 but was pulled due to make way for a larger tour of 'One night in Dublin'.
PIRATES ROCK
A fun upbeat show based on Sea shanties and Celtic rock anthems, with a small cast of singers and dancers this show was designed from the ground up by Middi for the Entertainers production company, touring from 2026.
DORIAN GRAY - A NEW MUSICAL
A totally original musical based on Oscar Wildes novel, still in production with an anticipated release date for the sound track of December 2025 and the stage previews in September 2026
My view is this....
If it all ends today I will have still achieved more and gone further in the wold of entertainment than any man of my looks, talent and intellect should have done!
